The Plume of Feathers Lodge is a family run bed and breakfast located in the heart of Dartmoor National Park. We are ideally located for leisure travellers using the moor for walking, cycling, canoeing etc. We also welcome business travellers as we are located in a quiet rural location but central enough to offer good access to transport links into Plymouth, Dartmoor Prison or further afield into Devon or Cornwall. We have nine comfortable en-suite rooms recently refurbished to a high specification. Tea making facilities and televisions are offered in all rooms. Included within the price is your breakfast the following morning. Breakfast is served in the main pub building between 8.00am - 11.00am. Earlier breakfasts can be arranged by prior request. The inn is located a short walk across the road. Food is served all day in the pub from 12.00 - 9pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday. On Friday and Saturday food is served from 12.00 - 9.30pm. We also offer a carvery on a Sunday between 12.00 - 4pm. We can also arrange walking, navigation or fishing tours of Dartmoor upon prior request.

Directions

From the M5:- Proceed on to the A38 proceed to Ashburton at the Peartree Junction sign posted Ashburton Princetown proceed along the slip road. At the junction turn right and follow the road for 11 miles sign posted Princetown. After leaving Two Bridges take the left hand turning. At the mini roundabout turn left into the car park.From Plymouth:- Take the A386 sign posted to Yelverton. At Yelverton roundabout take the second exit signed Princetown. Proceed across the moor. Upon entering Princetown turn right at the mini roundabout and proceed into the car park.From A30 Okehampton:- Join the A386 sign posted to Tavistock. Upon entering Tavistock proceed past Kelly College School. Shortly after the college take the left hand turning sign posted Princetown. Proceed across the moor through Merrivale. Shortly after the water pumping station there will be a right hand turning signed Princetown. Turn right proceed into the village, past the prison. At the mini roundabout proceed straight over and into the car park.
